Arsenal have dealt a blow as star winger Gabriel Martinelli is set to be out for more than a month. After sustaining an injury in his latest outing.
Martinelli suffered a hamstring injury in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final. Which the Gunners lost 2-0 to Newcastle at St James’ Park on Wednesday. Resulting in a 4-0 aggregate exit.

The Brazilian winger is set to miss three Premier League games against Leicester City, West Ham and Nottingham Forest in February. As well as Manchester United and Chelsea and the Champions League last-16 tie in the first week of March.
It is another bad news for Arsenal, who are competing for the Premier League title with Liverpool. Because they previously lost Bukayo Saka who was out for several months. Which limited their attacking options.
The Spaniard is already without Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Jesus. With the latter ruled out for the rest of the season after tearing his ACL in the FA Cup third round defeat to Manchester United at the beginning of January.
Candidates to replace Martinelli in the team include teenage sensation Ethan Nwaneri and Raheem Sterling, who is yet into any kind of rhythm in north London after joining on loan from Chelsea last summer.
