That Saudi Arabian giants Al-Ittihad have made an offer for Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard. But it has been rejected.
Al-Ittihad have made an initial offer for a season-long loan worth €5m (£4.2m) with an option to buy next summer for around €20-25m.
However, Arsenal are adamant that they ยูฟ่าเบท will not sell the 29-year-old Belgium international for any price as he remains a key part of Mikel Arteta’s squad.
Trossard has several years left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium and started in Saturday’s 1-1 draw at Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Gunners signed Trossard from Brighton in January 2023 and he has played a key role since, scoring 19 goals and providing 12 assists in 71 appearances.
He edged out Gabriel Martinelli as a regular starter towards the end of last season, scoring 17 goals and providing two assists in 46 appearances as Arsenal finished second in the Premier League.
He came on as a substitute and scored his first goal in a 2-0 win over Aston Villa last month, and after the win he said: “I think everyone wants to play, so it’s up to the players to react.”
